A football fan has recreated some of the most famous moments in the game in Lego pieces and the YouTube video has become an internet sensation.
The teenager spent hours making the plastic toys resemble memorable instants from tournaments gone by. The 18-year-old then filmed it and published it online and it has proved a huge hit!
Graham Love recreated Paul Gascoigne’s famous dentist chair in which Gazza’s goal against Scotland at Euro ’96 ended in a ‘dentist chair’ like celebration. And the footage also includes Stuart Pearce’s penalty against Spain in the same tournament when he appears as a psycho screaming.
Further minutes captured consist of Tomas Brolin when he scored for Sweden against England at Euro ’92 as well as ‘Wally with the Brolly’ Steve McClaran when he watched England lose to Croatia at Wembley in 2008 whilst he sported an umbrella.
What is more, David Trezeguet is featured when he won the tournament for France in 2000 and when Cristiano Ronaldo couldn’t stop crying when he lost to Portugal in the final of Euro 2004. The whole sporting world saw the player bawl his eyes out with tears falling down his face.
The online video completes the montage with a question mark to spark debate for coming tournaments. Despite only being published 2 days ago, the amateur clip has racked up almost 170,000 views; so imagine the possibilities for your business?
